This Privacy Policy explains how Teymensel ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, protects, and discloses your information when you access or use the Teymensel Mind mobile application (Google Play: com.teymensel.mind), our web platform located at https://mind.teymensel.com, and all associated services, APIs, and synchronization features (collectively, the "Services").

By downloading, accessing, or using Teymensel Mind, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• User Content: Note titles, text content, Markdown entries, code snippets, checklists/tasks, tags, custom folders, visual attachments, freehand sketch vectors, and connected note links you create within the app.
• Audio Recordings & Voice Notes: When you record a voice note or utilize speech-to-text dictation, temporary audio data is processed solely to generate your transcript and audio waveform for playback inside your personal notes.
• Images & Attachments: Photos or images you upload or capture to attach to a note, and extracted text via Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
• Account Information (Google Sign-In): If you choose to sign in using Google, we receive basic profile information provided by Google Identity Services, including your public display name, email address, and profile avatar URL. We never access your Google account password or personal files outside of Teymensel Mind.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Device & Connection Identifiers: A randomly generated pseudonymous device identifier (e.g., android_... or web_...) used solely for real-time WebSocket keystroke synchronization across your own devices.
• Timestamps & Sync Metadata: Note revision timestamps (updatedAt, syncVersion) to resolve conflicts and deliver seamless multi-device updates.
• Log & Error Data: Minimal technical diagnostic data in case of application crashes to maintain stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain Teymensel Mind across mobile and web.
• To facilitate instantaneous, keystroke-by-keystroke synchronization between your active devices via secure WebSockets and encrypted HTTPS cloud endpoints.
• To provide on-demand Mind AI features (summarizing, grammar/formatting polish, action item extraction, and cross-note Q&A) only when you explicitly trigger them.
• To authenticate your identity and protect against unauthorized access.
• To respond to your customer support requests.

4. Mind AI & Data Processing

Teymensel Mind includes smart assistant capabilities dubbed "Mind AI".

• AI features operate strictly on-demand when you tap the Mind AI action buttons.
• Your notes are processed via secured, encrypted API calls solely to generate the requested output (summary, tasks, or answers).
• No Public Model Training: Your private notes, thoughts, and documents are never sold, shared with data brokers, or used to train publicly accessible machine learning models without your explicit prior authorization.

5. Device Permissions Required

To deliver advanced note-taking functionality, Teymensel Mind may request the following permissions:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively when you tap the voice note or microphone dictation button. Audio is never recorded in the background.
• Storage / Media: Used solely to allow you to attach images, documents, or drawings to your notes and export your data.
• Network (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to deliver real-time WebSocket synchronization and Google Sign-In verification.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used solely to trigger smart date, time, or location reminders you set on your notes.

6. Data Storage, Security & Retention

We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and electronic security measures to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All communication between the app and our servers uses Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS and WSS).

We retain your notes for as long as you maintain your account or until you delete them. You have full control over your content: deleting a note removes it locally and from the cloud database.

7. Data Deletion & User Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Global)

Under applicable international privacy regulations (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and KVKK), you hold the following rights:

• Right to Access: You can view all your stored notes and folders at any time inside the app or export them in standard JSON/Markdown format.
• Right to Rectification: You can edit and update your data at any time with immediate real-time sync.
• Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): You can permanently delete any note or empty your trash bin. To request the complete deletion of your Google-linked account and all associated workspace records from our cloud servers, simply email us at [email protected] or [email protected] with your account email. Your data will be expunged within 30 days.
• Right to Portability: You can export your entire personal knowledge base via the in-app "Verileri Dışa Aktar" / "Export Data" tool.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Teymensel Mind is a general-audience productivity tool not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we take immediate steps to delete such data.

9. Third-Party Services

Our services interface with the following trusted third-party providers:

• Google Identity Services & Google Play: For secure single sign-on authentication and application distribution. Governed by Google Privacy Policy.
• Hosting Infrastructure: Dedicated secure servers managed under ISO 27001-certified European data center facilities.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological improvements or legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
